Squash Casserole

2 cups cooked squash, drained and mashed (can use a mixture of green and yellow)
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup canned milk
2 eggs, beaten
½ tsp. pepper
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 cups crushed club or Ritz crackers
Mash cooked squash, and mix with other ingredients. Pour into well-greased dish. Bake at 375 degrees uncovered for 45 minutes.
